Lubristation Lubrication Rooms

Lubristation Lubrication Rooms

Modernize your Lubricant Storage & Conditioning

In the old days machinery lubrication was seen as messy work, a functon of low importance and requiring limited skills. Luckily those days are (almost) over.

Knowing that even new lubricants are not always as clean as they should be, (new) lubricants should be stored and protected from contamination, dust, dirt and moisture. That's why storing new oil is a central function of a lube room.

Before use, oil should be filtered. This can be done by filter carts to cleanse oil in drums or by Lubristation, Lustor or OilSafe storage units. Units with built-in filtration, outfitted with desiccant breathers and labeled with the type of oil it contains. To cut down on mistakes a color coding system is a standard feature of these Units.

In this blog we will discuss the various types of the Lubristation® System.

Lubristation-SLubristation® S

Storage

Lubricant oil (or other fluids) are stored in HDPE lubricant tanks, connected to a closed loop flexible network, equipped with hydraulic filter units with pumps and an oil tap.

Conditioning

Oil is filtered in circulation on the tank (according to the required ISO4406 level), stored and protected against extra external contamination from particles and moisture with breather air dryers (Air Sentry).

Distribution

Via lubricant pump systems (standard electrical pumps) and the same filter units, the clean and decontaminated lubricant is transfered to the oil tap (with self closing taps) and can be dispensed into OilSafe drums for further transfer to machine or point of use.

Option

The Lubristation® S units are extendable with consumption meters, OilSafe™ identification, etc.

The systems are available in different configurations and with different options like retention tank.

Please send us your list of specific requirements and we will be happy to calculate you an adequate BEST PRACTICE quotation.

Lubristation-LCULubristation® LCU

Storage

Lubricant oil (or other fluids) are stored in the original 200 or 50 l oil drums, connected to a closed loop fixed piping network, equipped with hydraulic filter units with pumps and an oil bar with optional consumption meters

Conditioning

Oil is filtered in circulation on the oil drum (according to the required ISO4406 level), stored and protected against extra external contamination from particles and moisture with breather air dryers (Air Sentry).

Distribution

Via lubricant pump systems (standard pneumatic pumps) and the same filter units, the clean and decontaminated lubricant is transferred to the oil tap bar (with self closing taps) and can be dispensed into OilSafe cans for further transfer to machine or point of use.

Options

The Lubristation® LCU units are extendable with consumption meters, OilSafe identification, etc.

The container lube rooms are available in different dimensions and with different options: walking door, ventilation, ramp, air conditioning, heating , etc.

Lubristation-MLubristation® M

Storage

Oils (or other fluids) are stored in the existing drums or single HDPE reservoirs in your lube room.

Conditioning

The lubricant can be filtered in circulation on the drum or the tank (according to the required ISO4406 level), then stored and protected from extra contamination from the exterior with breather dryers.

Distribution

Via a pumping system ( pneumatic or electric ) and the same filter unit, the lubricant can be dispensed at the tap valve in a proper clean way (in OilSafe cans). In other cases oil can be dispensed via flexible hoses with or without dispensing guns.

Options

Lubristation® M is available with digital consumption meter, OilSafe identification system, retention, hose reels, etc. Lubristation LU-MEP Special ATEX - pneumatic pump + anti static wiring version for 200 & 50 l drum.

Lubristation M Drums
